Recently, i felt God press upon my heart to go on a mission trip to Guatemala through a trusted magazine. This summer, i will be away from my little home in Ohio and off to a new place out of the country where i'll be tested in many ways i'm not prepared for. I have found out new things about myself that i never would have guessed rested in my box of personal characteristics. Already trials have come. But something tells me that after this summer, i will never be the same.

- There's a time when every person (at some point or another) goes on a journey to find something very valuable. It can't be bought, but it must be stumbled upon; like an epiphany. What is this pricless thing that every person's looking for? Themselves. I'm going (if you haven't found out already) on the Brio mission trip to Guatemala. I didn't originally decide to do it for a "finding myself experience" but it's turning out to be that. i never realized what a big leap this is in my life to be leaving my parents and traveling to a different country to show Christ's love. Although my goal is to do what i feel God has for me to do for other's in need, i believe this will change me in a way that is undescribable. (but of course,for you, i'll try ^^)
